Jahangir successfully suppressed the rebellion of his eldest son Khusrau. He executed the Sikh Guru Arjun Dev and thus begun the conflict between Mughals and Sikhs. Jahangir's major conquests were:

Kandahar was lost to Mughals during Jahangir's reign. Toward the end of his reign, Jahangir faced the rebellions of his son Shah Jahan and his general Mahabat Khan, but was able to crush their revolts.
