The amount of points you get for driving above the speed limit depends on the county you are in and the area in which you were speeding. For example, a person speeding in a school zone would receive more points than someone speeding on a highway.
min of 3 points which may stay on til 5 years
For 1-10 MPH over the limit you will get 2 points.
That would depend on the State (about 6 points in most jurisdictions).
It depends on local legislation.
It depends on what the speed limit was in the area you got the ticket. If you were in a 70 mph zone, it would probably be 2 points. If you were in a 25 mph zone, they probably would take your license.
It depends on what was the speed limit in the area. If you were doing 80 on a 65 MPH zone , youd probably get 2 points. If you were doing 80 on a 25 MPH zone, thed probably take away ur licence. It depends due to the fact that said driver has broken two laws. Minimum of six penalty points is standard. However, as a Restricted driver in Northern Ireland, six penalty points will be enough to get his/her license revoked. Personally, "not enough" was my immediate reaction to this.
The person driving at a speed of 80mph in a 55 mph zone will receive points on their license. They can lose their job if the company sees fit, they can lose their license, and they will have to pay a ticket.
