Going to the doctor to see if you are pregnant is the best way, because a few medications can give a false positive and pregnancy tests are not 100% reliable, but an ultrasound (which you can see your doctor about) is the best way to tell if you are pregnant.

∙ 15y agoIt only takes one positive test, but if you are like me and "just dont believe it!" then you can take more, but after one positive and no period, Id make an appt with your Dr to be sure! ∙ 12y agoNo limit on number of times, but no benefit of doing so. Do it on first morning urine sample and follow instructions. Pg hormone levels rise rapidly, so if negative, may repeat each morning for several days following a missed period.

Well you should consult a doctor preferably an obgyn to either confirm of deny the pregnancy. Also you may want to watch i didnt know i was pregnant on TLC. The obgyn can confirm the pregnancy as where there have been many cases of the best pregnancy test coming back as a "False Negative" and so the only 100% reliable way to know if your pregnant is to consult your obgyn or consult a doctor if you need to urgently no but until you confirm or deny the pregnancy dont drink, smoke, or do drugs please!!

No. Pregnancy tests detect the hormone hcg which your body produces when you are pregnant. Progesterone would not be picked up on a pregnancy test. If your test came back positive, you are pregnant. See a doctor to confirm.
