Canada borders three different oceans. On the eastern coast of the country, Canada borders the Atlantic ocean. On the western coast of the country, Canada borders the Pacific Ocean and the northern reaches of Canada border the Arctic Ocean.
If you consider that Canada is a rough rectangle with the longest axis oriented east and west then the Atlantic Ocean is on Canada's East coast, the Pacific Ocean is on Canada's West coast, and the Arctic Ocean is North of Canada. The Alaskan peninsula sticks out from the Northwest corner of the rectangle and separates the Arctic and Pacific Oceans.
Canada has 10 provinces. It also has 3 territories.
Canada is divided into five main regions: the Atlantic Provinces, Central Canada, the Prairie Provinces, the West Coast, and the Northern Territories. Each region has its own unique geography, culture, and economic activities. The Atlantic Provinces include Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. Central Canada comprises Ontario and Quebec, while the Prairie Provinces consist of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta, with British Columbia representing the West Coast and the Northern Territories including Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
