Different states have different required amounts of questions most consist of like 10 or 20 but I think California has 30. I would say that if you study intensely than it is fairly easy but if you don't study at all than its really hard. Some question are only 2 sentences others consist of pictures.
The cast test questions are not the same as the ones on the practice test.
You can not get an advance copy of the drivers test questions for the Illinois drivers test. However, the state does offer a guide book that you should study in order to learn what will be on the test.

You would need to know how many questions were on the original test and what number of questions correct would be in the 8.6 percentile. Most tests do not give this data. If you can find it out, then number right / total number on test x 100 gives the percentage. 50 percentile might mean a 70% if it was an average test, or for a hard test 10 percentile might mean a 30%. Without the above information you cannot directly convert one to the other.
