The main sourses of Fiqh are the holy Quran and the Sunnah of prophet Mohammed peace be upon which explains the Quran.
Fiqh means Islamic Law. Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence) is the methodology of finding out the truth from the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet (SM). The scholars of Islam, called the Faqih, uses this methodology also to derive new meanings from a more general verdict in order to make the rellgion of Islam ever perpetuating. It should be kept in mind that fatwas/verdicts of the Islamic scholars are not to be held infalliable; they are humans and are prone to make mistakes, even when they have given their utmost to find out the truth.

Al-Sunnah is the creed which is exactly & literally following in the footsteps of prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Any school (Madhab) of the four or five schools is developed according to Quran Guides, prophet sayings and practices (Sunnah), and other Islamic Jurisdiction (Fiqh) rules.. The differences among the different schools are in minor details according to the approach of the school. One chooses the easier of any two options. Another one chooses the more assured option,and so on. Following any of these schools is acceptable. If you are not following a specific school (or Madhab) and following what you been taught, regardless a specific school, it is also acceptable.
