a blood cell travels through the body over and over again and again until the blood cell stops or doesn't take the usual route.
there are two layers inner and outer layer of a blood cell.......
Cause red blood cells are responsible for carrying oxygen to the body
There are 500 white blood cells to every 1000 red blood cells (or you could say there is double the amount of red blood cells). The answer would be 200 red blood cells for every 100 white blood cells.
Because white blood cell count can indicate MANY things. A raise can show that your body is fighting infection or leukimiea. ( most likely infection) and a drop can be the sign of many genetically inherited diseases
red and white blood cells
it should be between 8000-10,000 for a healthy body
Blood is a fluid in mammals that serves many purposes in the body. The blood is composed of red blood, white blood cells, body platelets and plasma. The Blood has many functions, such as transport of oxygen through the iron pigment present in the red blood cell called haemoglobin. Another is the body defence which is the responsibility of the white blood cells(leucocytes). The white blood cell is divided into two namely; phagocytes and lymphocytes. They help the body in combatting the foreign bodies appearing in the body. Another function is the blood clotting i.e. the solidification of blood wherever and whenever there is an injury. This function is the work of blood platelets. Another essential function is the transport of nutrients, gases, hormones from where they are produced to where they are needed. The functions of blood is not limited to these functions alone, there are still many more. I rest my case.
23 pairs and 46 in all like any other body cell except gametes and red blood cells (blood cells have no chromosomes because they have no nucleus hope this helps
There is only one normal type of red blood cell.
Shape of the red blood cell is compressed at the centre and the diameter is about 8 micrometer. The diameter of staphylococcus is about say 4 micrometer. So four staphylococci should fit in one normal sized red blood cell.
Sickle cell disease is one of many diseases of the red blood cell.
