my 2001 polo classic fan has stop working and now the car is overheating. can anybody tell me what the problem could be
Sounds like a relay is bad. I have seen many instances where a relay will test good but fail in use. check the ignition and ECC relays.
Relays come in many different packages. There are SPST relays, SPDT, DPDT. Check the link below to see all the relay wiring diagrams.
It depends what relay you mean - a normal relay has four swimmers (e.g. an IM relay or a freestyle relay) bu relays such as a cannon relay can have more
There are so many types of relays i could go on forever
You have many relays in that vehicle, most are in the fuse and relay box under the hood.
They're completely different, used for different applications (usually). A distance relay uses both current and voltage. A differential relay uses only current. A differential relay usually has harmonic restraint capability, while distance relays ideally track system frequency. Differential relays require fast operation, while distance relays may not be required to operate as quickly. Distance relays have more issues with operating for out of zone problems than differential relays. There are many more, but this gives an idea.
Relay for what? Many of the relays are in the engine bay on the driver side under a black box. There are a couple blower relays that are located behind the glovebox. and some more relays located behind the dead pedal interior panel, and the same for the passenger side. Which relay are you looking for?
Today car have many relays to control the high current, so which relay are you looking ????. headlight, horn, .....
3 times, there are 4 runners in a relay.
There can be many relays on a vehicle. We need to know which one and what vehicle you have.

There are multiple relay races: 4x100, 4x100, distance medley, and other less used relays. Every relay has 4 members.
