220 miles taking this route:

  1. From London to Birmingham, you will start off from either M1 or M40 to get to the Birmingham area.
  2. If you are taking M1, take M1 to The NORTH to M6 BIRMINGHAM at J19, and then take M6 to M6 TOLL to The NORTH WEST at J3. If you are taking M40, take M40, from London, to M42(N) to The NORTH (via M6), and then take M42 around Birmingham to M6 TOLL to The NORTH WEST.
  3. Once you are on M6 TOLL, take M6 TOLL, around BIRMINGHAM, to M6 (NORTH).
  4. Continue on M6 to M58 SOUTHPORT at J26.
  5. Take M58 to A570 SOUTHPORT at J3.
