There can be any number of rooms! Every rich person builds their own house, or buys one that another rich person had built, so every one has a different number. Do a search online for "mansion house plans" and you can see what I'm talking about.
It depends which house you are in. And if you are in a Japanese house who's owned by poor people it might be little rooms, but if it is owned by rich people it might be bigger room/ rooms
