The number of rounds is unlimited. You keep going until you die. There are only three different maps though. Treyarch will probably release new maps/dlcs on xbox live and psn in the coming months, considering how much $ they have already made off the game. While this stands me and my friend realized that at aproximately round 147 most guns do almost no harm unless getting perfect headshots.

∙ 10y agoUntil you drop dead or until you don't want to play anymore because their is an infinite number of rounds.However it starts getting impossible at round 136 this is when the upgraded ray gun becomes completely useless.

∙ 11y agoZombies in Black Ops 2 has infinite amount of waves, every wave zombies get harder and harder, until you actually die. You can go on forever and never find an end to it :)
