The F22 can mount a 20 mm Gatling Gun, with 480 rounds of ammo. Primary weapons are not the gun, but missles.
A LOT! It is estimated that there are 2.5 BILLION rounds of .22 LR ammo made each year. And that is only one (but probably the most popular) cartridge.
They come in different sizes. 50, 100 and 500 are the most common.
for a box of fifty it is 3-4 dollars at Able's ammo. it is hard to find .22 rounds so that is the price of fifty .22LR (long rifle) rounds. .22LR is a little bigger than normal .22 rounds. these are real cheap because they are only 40 grain. if you get 140 or 180 grain bullets, it will be almost $20.00 or more.
Depends on how the barrel is marked. IMPROVING ANSWER: If this gun will feed the short rounds thru the magazine and action and up into the chamber property, then great. It's safe to use them. It's always safe to shoot .22 shorts or .22 CB ammo in a .22LR gun, but many guns made for .22LR will not cycle or "feed" the shorter weaker rounds in the normal way, so then you'd have to put each round into the chamber yourself. A lot of modern guns that will handle shorts, longs, and long rifle .22 rimfire rounds have the barrels marked simply ".22 LR" and that's a bit misleading.
22 caliber ammo
There has been a severe shortage of .22 ammo for over a year. Ammo that SHOULD sell for about $3.00 per 50 rounds has been selling for $15-$20 per 50. It is simply not possible to state a price right now. Sorry-
22.
shoot? Depends on a lot of factors, exact ammo, barrel length, etc. Be WARNED a 22 is probably one of the most dangerous "normal" rounds for stray travel a 22 has the ballistic capability of up to a mile!
It's possible, but the likelihood of error is pretty high when using .22 shotshells for that purpose. Better just to use regular .22 LR rounds, or regular shotshells.
No
Depends on the pistol. Typically 10 rounds for a Colt Woodsman.
