I'm not sure I understand your question. Most Communist countries have been run by a dictator: there may have been "elections" but the result is already decided. Each Communist country has its own leader who is in charge of the government. Some are called Prime Minister, some are called President, some are called Chairman (of the Communist Party). But there are rarely free and fair elections, nor is dissent generally allowed; the leader of each of the Communist countries generally rules that country with an iron hand.
Totalitarian, although they always claim to be democracies.
He allowed many countries to abandon Communism.
The Communists were defeated, and the Communist rulers were ousted from their posts.
NATO protected many countries in Europe from the spread of communism. The nations supported re-militarization in Western Germany and later accepted West Germany, referred to at the time as The Federal Republic of Germany into the organization. They also formed a military state of relaxation between Europe and the communist countries such as Russia and Albania. This act allowed Europe to begin trading across the Atlantic and fund its military, which in-turn helped defeat the Soviet Union. (Hope This Helps)

Prior to the end of WW2 the rulers of Japan were considered GODS
It might be easier to use communist, but you asked for communism so...Though the countries' dictator spoke at length about his people's liberties and and personal gains, other countries' rulers viewed the comments as strictly communism.
In Communism the resources of the planet belong to all the people and are used to meet human need. No classes, no rulers. No money, no borders. Under capitalism a very small number of people own the means of production and live very well by exploiting those who produce the wealth.
Both rulers and people benefited. Local rulers kept some power, and kings, in return, receivedtheir loyalty.
The largest Asian country to fall to communism was "China" in 1949
Religious worship was discouraged in Mongolia due to communism. The Buddhist temples were either destroyed or left there for nothing. In communism as you all know the government has a lot of control on the people. So that's why the people didn't want worshiping and that's why communist rulers discourage religious worship in Mongolia.
