Baptists and Methodists do use the same Bible. The Methodists are more into new translations while many Baptist enjoy the text of the King James Version. The Catholic church uses a version of the Bible that includes the Apocrypha.

Methodism is a Protestant religion and has a minimum of doctrine. An individual relationship between the worshipper and God is emphasized; no intermediary between the person and God is required. Catholicism has a rich and complex religious structure, layers of authority, and an elaborate doctrine and tradition of rituals, stories, and religious figures.
The Puritans were associated with the religious group called Friends in Pennsylvania. Friends were also associated with the Fraternity of German Baptists. Today, the Friends continues in many church denominations. And in the early 1900s, the Fraternity of German Baptists renamed themselves Church of the Brethren. Very conservative Brethren are called Dunkards. All of these groups continue today.
Baptists do not follow a strict liturgical year. They do have Christmas ,Easter, and so forth. They do not follow saints' days and a long 40 day lent like many other churches.
