∙ 10y agoThe role of the worm is to remove waste from the soil in the way of rotting material eating the bacteria that break down these items. In turn, their feces helps to fertilize the soil. Also, the worms' activity helps the soil hold water better because they aerate the soil through the tunnels they make.
