Is there a laptop which has two RS232 aka serial ports?

Most modern laptops lack any sort of "legacy" ports such as serial ports, let alone them having two. Some older laptops did have multiple serial ports, but there's little point in recommending one because there's no guarantee you could find one. There are options for adding serial ports to a laptop, such as a USB to serial adapter, or a PC card with additional serial ports.

What does the term Legacy system mean in the computer world?

A "legacy" system is one that is either outdated for most practical purposes, or one that includes older forms of technology. A "legacy-free" PC is one that does not include older ports that would be necessary to support much older equipment, such as parallel ports, ISA slots, serial ports, PS/2 ports, and sometimes even VGA.

What are the advantages of USB ports relative to parallel and serial ports?

The serial and parallel ports are slow, have limited expandability and don't carry their own charge of electricity.these ports work fine for connecting Printers, Mice and keyboards to PC but all these device will perform better if connected to a USB port

When would you disable the serial port?

In the past, both the serial and parallel port were the most common means of data transfer and communication used by PCs. Serial ports were used for devices such as modems, mice, and serial port printers. However, in newer PCs, both the serial and parallel ports have been replaced by the use of USB ports. You should only disable serial port(s) if you are absolutely certain that auxiliary devices such as modems; printers; mice; etc.. are USB based and that your PC has enough USB ports to accommodate all of your auxiliary devices. Note: If at some point in the immediate future, you plan to sell your PC, it might be wise to leave the serial port as is.

What are ports?

How can you set proxy for all programs or games in Windows XP?

There is no way to do that. Some games do not support gaming through proxies. The rest of the games utilize all variations of ports for their connections. Each PC has got 65536 ports. To support ALL GAMES, you would have to forward ALL PORTS to your system. Or you try to figure out the ports that are used by the games you want to play. It's not that easy - most programs use more than just one port. And they use more thant just TCP also (i.e. UDP)! So your worse case is a game, that uses 4 ports (for example 2 for data, 1 for voice and one for server data) on TCP and UDP. You can configure your proxy to support each single game, but it's a lot of work... Considering that, I cannot recommend to open up your system that wide. When forwarding all ports to your PC, you will have to firewall all traffic on your very own PC.
