The tea involved oin the Boston Tea Party belonged to the British East India Tea Company. It was carried in 4 ships. One ship the William ran aground and was stranded near Cape Cod so she was not involved in the Tea Party. The other three ships Beaver, Dartmouth, and Eleanore were the ships whose cargo of tea was dumped in Boston Harbor while the ships were tied to what is believed to have been the old Griffin's Wharf.
