Who becomes a Jehovah's Witness?
Anyone who studies the Bible with a qualified Witness until they become very familiar with scriptures to help explain questions that frequently arise in the ministry. First, one becomes an unbaptized publisher and then they answer a series of questions to test their knowledge of the Bible. Next, they dedicate their lives to Jehovah God and accept Christ Jesus as Savior and King, by Jehovah's arrangement. They then symbolize that dedication by water baptism at the next convention or assembly in their region. Absolutely! My son's godmother is married to a Jewish man. We were thrilled to have him at the baptism, because he is a treasured friend of ours. We had friends of many faiths at the baptism. I would hope that all friends, especially the non-Catholic spouses of potential godmothers would want to be at the baptism, and would feel welcome to be there.

Baptism is not used as a form of entrapment. Most Christian churches, including the Mormons, offer some type of baptism cancellation, where you can have your name taken of the official member list of the church. Baptism in most churches is a personal symbol of your new life in Christ, it holds no obligation that requires you to participate in that church. Many people who are baptized into specific churches eventually leave that church or simply stop coming to worship.

There are very many facts about baptism,but the most important is that when you recieve baptism you are being washed away from all your sins. God is forgiving you of all your sins when you are being baptised. After you recive baptism there comes your First Confeshion. Which is very important also. Why? Because you are being forgivin from your sins aswell. Like I said there are many more facts about baptism, but I feel this was most important.
