The Intel DG31GL has only two PCI slots.
A Connect 4 game board has 42 slots.
You plug bits of circuit board into slots to gain extra functionality.
If you look at your manual, you will see there are no ISA slots on this board. 2- pci-e 16x 2- pci-e x1 1- pci
Memory slots
If you wanted more slots im pretty sure you would have to install a new mother board with more PCI slots
expansion slots :D
According to my A+ book a CPU in a AT mobo will sit towards the front of the board and in front of the ISA slots. On an ATX mobo it will sit towards the back near the fan and to the side of the ISA slots.
normally non gamming mother boards have 2-4 RAM slots will be on a mother board but some crazy mother boards may have 30 Slots on it but 2 is all you need for gamming mainly just depends what RAM chips you put in it
It depends on the model of motherboard
There is only one motherboard in a computer, that is the board that houses everything, where you can place card slots, processor, connect pins and other necessities. I think you are referring to cards as boards which they are not, they connecting in the motherboard slots.
No, the graphics chipset on nearly all laptops is on the motherborad and laptops do not not have expansion slots. Desktops often have "on-board" graphis as well, but they have expansion slots so you can disable the on-board graphics and add a video card to one of the expansion slots to upgrade the graphics.
you get 12 slots
