a lot i wouldnt worry about limits. i have an 8GB and i have almost 200 songs and that takes up about 1.25GB.
On a 4g ipod touch: 8GB- 2000 songs, 32GB- 7000 songs, 64GB- 16,000 songs.
exactly 14,000 songs.
14,000 songs in 128-Kbps AAC format.
Depending on the Length and Quality of the song ie. the size it can hold between 13,000 and 15,000 songs
The number depends on the quality and duration of the songs. If you have low quality (low bitrate) short songs then it can hold a lot of songs. If you have high quality (high bitrate) long songs then the number goes down quite a bit
The ipod 3rd generation can come in 8gb, 16gb, 32gb, and 64gb, (Not sure if they still sell 64gb 3rd gen ipods though)
A 16GB ipod can hold 3,600 songs
At least 6000 MP3's at 320Kbps
If you are wondering how you store these on an iPhone, you just plug into the computer, either check your songs and sync or click and drag. If you were wondering how many songs could be held on an iPhone: 8gb - 1,906 16gb - 3,812 32gb - 7,625 64gb - 15,250 *these are only estimates
The amount of space taken up by a song will vary depending on the length of the song and the compression used. You could expect to get around 16000 average length songs but any apps, movies etc. will be using some of the storage space so it will not all be available for songs.
You can get in it 8GB, 32GB and 64GB, with the 8GB one being cheapest.
my friend as an ipod classic and it can hold 30,000 songs on it
