King Nestor is King of Pylos in the greek story King Nestor Remembers book three of the Odyssey by Homer.
Nestor is the son of Neleus and Chloris in Greek mythology. He was also the King of Pylos. He was an argonaut and fought alongside his sons in the Trojan war. He is mentioned in the Iliad and was an advisor to Agamemnon and Achilles.
Nestor was born in Pylos and was made king after Hercules killed his father King Neleus, and all of Nestor's siblings.
Nestor was Pisastratus' father. Nestor advises Telemachus to take his sons as escorts.
