Just count the spark plug wires, You will either have 6 or 8.
3 cylinders have wires, 3 cylinders have boots attached to the coils.
That's Fords twin plug ignition system , so your Ford Ranger 4 cylinder has ( 8 ) spark plugs and spark plug wires
Count the number of spark plug wires. There is one for each cylinder.
There is only one. Because there is in one cylinder
Depending on how many you crossed the engine would fail to run or run very roughly as the spark to the cylinder is not timed correctly
one for each cylinder i.e. 4 for 4 cyl, 6 for 6 cyl
There are 8 spark plugs. 4 on the intake side of the head and 4 on the exhaust side.
There is only one conductor in a spark plug wire, it isn't wire though, usually the center is a highly conductive substance like nickel alloy surrounded by silicone insulator. Each spark plug will get it's own wire so a 4 cylinder engine will have 4 spark plug wires.
There would be six spark plugs for a six cylinder engine. One for each cylinder. Unless it is a diesel, then there are no spark plugs.
There are 4 spark plugs, It's a 4 cylinder so there are 4 plugs. Should be under a panel on top of the engine, shouldn't be any wires just plugs.
there is a spark plug for every cylinder so there are four spark plugs 14 or 16 gauges
