23 species
There are no alligators in Africa, just crocodiles. The Nile crocodile is the largest of the African species (and the second largest of all croc species) and adult Nile crocodiles feed on a variety of animals including fish, ungulates, bovids, and primates (including humans.) Crocodiles and other large predators generally avoid each-other due to the chance of mortal injury, although on rare occasions adult Nile crocodiles have been observed taking lions and leopards.
There are 23 different crocodilian species.
Crocodiles eat many more animals than humans regardless of their geographic location.
There are crocodiles
There are crocodiles in Australia and in other parts of the world as well.
In Asia, saltwater crocodiles and mugger crocodiles are predators. In Africa, Nile crocodiles are predators.
There are several thousands, not an endangered species.
They are just called crocodiles because all crocodiles are cold-blooded. Although they are called crocodiles, there are different species of crocodiles.
There are 1000 species of birds in South Africa
