You can use any USPS postage as long as it is at least $0.94. Make sure to write "AIRMAIL" on the letter as well.

As of 2014, it will cost $6.04 cents to mail a letter from the US to South Korea. You will need to use 13 1st class stamps to mail the letter unless you take it to the post office and pay at the window.
