9,261,000,000 (9.2) Billion sun can fit in VY Canis Majoris.
Approximately 1 billion. It is the biggest star ever discovered after all
Yes, the largest known star is VY Canis Majoris which is about 2,100 times larger than our Sun which would mean 9,261,000,000 Suns would fit inside.
It would take over 7,000,000,000,000,000 (7 quadrillion) Earths to fill the volume of VY Canis Majoris, the largest star in the universe
Yes, and "We don't know". There is a maximum theoretical size that a star can be; when the star is so big and so bright that the pressure of the sunlight is pushing the upper layers of the sun away from the star. The problem with our theories is that Canis Majoris is already bigger than that, and there are other stars that are also " too big" to exist - theoretically.
VY Canis Majoris has a radius about 2,100 times that of the Sun. This means that about 9 billion Suns could fit inside it. See related link for a picture of the difference in size.
The diameter of VY Canis Majoris is Est. 3,063,500,000 km. (but disputed) If the Sun was replaced by VY Canis Majoris, its surface would extend to the orbit of Saturn. Assuming the upper size limit of 2100 solar radii, light would take more than 8 hours to travel around the star's circumference, as opposed to 14.5 seconds for our Sun. It would take over 7,000,000,000,000,000 (7 Quadrillion) Earths or 7,000,000,000 (7 Billion) Suns to fill VY Canis Majoris. [See Link]
in a game the suns would win
it is impossibe the sun is way bigger than the earth No Suns would fit into the Earth because The Sun is many thousands of times larger than the Earth.
Our Sun is an "average" sized star. Although it seems big to us, this is only because it is the closest to us. The largest star so far found in VY Canis Majoris which is over 2,000 times larger than our own Sun. Over 9 billion Suns could fit inside it.The Sun is a yellow dwarf, and is nothing compared to betelguse or VY Canis Majoris. The Sun is easily beaten by almost all the other normal to bigger stars.
