In Greek mythology, Kronos (or Cronus) is a titan who was overthrown by his son Zeus and is often depicted as being imprisoned in Tartarus. He is a mythological figure rather than a historical person, so he does not have a life or death in the traditional sense. In modern interpretations, his existence is confined to stories and symbols within mythology. Therefore, Kronos is not alive in any literal sense.

Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades are sons of Kronos. Kronos swallowed Poseidon and Hades, but Rhea hid Zeus from Kronos. Zeus later tricked Kronos into vomiting up Poseidon and Hades.
