Some do not text at all most days, only doing it when absolutely necessary, while others can go through their quota of 2000 texts in less than a week (sometimes in just two days). The average would probably be 30-50 texts a day in those countries where texting/cellphones are commonly available.
Most of them do - depending on the region of course. In some poorer regions, people don't have the technology required to text.
There are 2.5 billion messages sent everyday.
An average person should send 20 text messages in one day. That is my opinion. Some people might say more but that is what I think.
An average American sends 52 text messages a day =)

There is no definitive numerical answer but it is certainly many, many millions.
It's an obnoxious way of communicating, I would not know the answer but I would assume millions, if not billions. In a singular point of view I would say 20. Well that's not a simple question. If you want to know how many texts people send each day you will have to know how many people there are in the world! When you figure that out I can answer your question. But I suggest that you should change your question to:How many text messages do most people send everday in[the state you want. For example:New Jersey]?
how many messages per day can send in 160by2
...um... no. that's 800 texts a day :|
That would depend on the person. Not everyone has the capability to send text messages, some people choose not to. Some people will send between none and five a day while others may send hundreds. The Pew research center claims that the average is 42.
Generally speaking, text messages do not act as official notices for cause of action.
According to Nelson "In 2010, an estimated 188 billion text messages per month were sent."
