Hi,
Linus Pauling won the Noble Prize twice. Once in 1954 in the field of Chemistry and one in 1962 for Peace.
Regards,
Kiran Kumar Somaroutu
No one. Fred Sanger won two chemistry prizes, but no peace prize. Linus Pauling won one chemistry prize and one peace prize. No individual to date has ever won three Nobel prizes. The Red Cross (specifically, the International Committee of the Red Cross) has been awarded the peace prize three times as an organization. The founder also won the very first peace prize awarded as an individual.
As of 2009, four individuals have won a Nobel prize twice: Marie Curie (physics 1903, chemistry 1911), Linus Pauling (chemistry 1954, peace 1962), John Bardeen (physics 1956, physics 1972), Frederick Sanger (chemistry 1958, chemistry 1980). The only one of the four who was awarded both prizes as a solo recipient was Linus Pauling. If you want to count groups also, the International Committee of the Red Cross has been awarded the Peace prize three times (1917, 1944, 1963). Also, the Peace prize has twice been awarded (1954, 1981) to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, though that office was not held by the same person both times.

There could be differences of opinion here, but a few names that most people would agree rank up near the top: * Linus Pauling * Sir Humphrey Davy * Antoine Lavoisier * Josiah Willard Gibbs * John Dalton
No, H.G. Wells did not receive a Nobel Prize, though he was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature four times. Wells was a prominent English writer known for his science fiction works such as "The War of the Worlds" and "The Time Machine."
Gandhi was nominated for the Noble Peace Prize several times; but never won.
The first scale of electronegativity was developed by Linus Pauling and on his scale helium has a value of no data on a scale running from from about 0.7 (an estimate for francium) to 2.20 (for hydrogen) to 3.98 (fluorine)

Serious at the right times but very funny.
Marie Curie won the noble prize 2 times because of her contribution to the radiation phenomena and for the discovery of polonium and radium. One noble peace prize was for Physics while the other was for Chemistry.
The Sunday Times Fiction Prize was created in 2001.
