when did MT stromboli last erupt, and what were the effects of it.
Pressure had built up sufficiently for it to erupt, as it has done many times in history, as do most volcanoes. Nobody can predict exactly when a volcano will erupt, but we are getting better at seeing the signs of probably imminent eruption.
At least 16 times since 781 AD. most of them were moderate. 2 of them were large eruptions. Most recent eruption is between 1707-1708

there were many warnings about mount St.Helen if they had an earthquake it would trigger the volcano to erupt causing the people to know if it will erupt or not
The eruption of Mount St. Helens in 1980 was relatively short, lasting for about nine hours. However, the effects of the eruption, including the eruption column and pyroclastic flows, had long-lasting impacts on the surrounding area.
