A "goldfish bowl" should never contain a goldfish. Goldfish require at least 20 gallons for one fish, and an additional 10 gallons for each extra fish (so that's 40 gallons for 3 fish)
It's not just about their potential size, but also due to producing very high amounts of waste.
If you cannot get something bigger for your fish, your local fish store would very likely take the fish for you, and you can think about getting a betta which would still require frequent water changes in something so small, but is much more suitable for the tank size.

it depends how big the fish bowl is

Zero, goldfish need very clean cool water and are very dirty fish.
That depends a great deal on how many goldfish there were before.

Goldfish normally spawn once yearly in Spring time.
None Even a single goldfish will outgrow a fish bowl very quickly and with no filtration will be dead in no time instead of the quite long life time when kept in proper aquaria. Just do it its cruel and unecessary.
