2006
4 cylinder 2003-2007 Honda Accords have timing chains. 6 cylinder 2003-2007 Honda Accords have timing belts.
According to the Gates website ( they make timing belts etc . ) the 3.5 liter V6 engine in a 2007 Saturn Vue has a timing BELT
Yes , the 3.5 liter V6 engine in a 2007 Toyota Camry has a timing CHAIN ( according to the Gates website , they make timing belts etcetera )
Timing chains unlike timing belts last the life of the engine.
Gates ( they manufacture timing belts etc ) lists a timing BELT for the 2.0 L - 4 cylinder engine in a 2007 Volkswagen GTI ( they also show it as an INTERFERENCE ENGINE )
On a 2007 Ford Explorer : The 4.0 liter SOHC , V6 engine has ( 3 timing CHAINS ) The 4.6 liter , V8 engine has ( 2 timing CHAINS )
It must be a timing CHAIN because Gates ( they make timing belts etc. ) doesn't list a timing belt for the 3.3 liter V6 engine in a 2007 Hyundai Sonata
The 2.4 liter four cylinder engine in a 2007 Hyundai Sonata must have a timing CHAIN ( the Gates website , they make timing belts etcetera , does not list a timing belt for it )
As I know Elantra 2007 (HD) with 1.6 engine (Gamma 1.6D) has chain timing train not the regular belt like 2.0 version with BETA 2.0D engine.
There is no timing belt. It is a timing chain. I have 130,000 miles and have not had any trouble. It will start making noise when it is time. Unlike timing belts which will break, timing chains wear out slowly.
The 2007 Hyundai Elantra has 16 valves.
