Dusty Springfield, Lulu, Sandy Shaw, Petula Clark, Cliff Richard
Cliff Richard had hits in Great Britain over six decades. For example, his first British hit, Move It, went to #2 in 1958. In 1959, Living Doll hit #1. In the 60's, his hits included #1 The Young Ones and Summer Holiday from the movies. In 1979, after many smaller hits, We Don't Talk Anymore reached #1. During the 70's, he also made it to American #2 with Devil Woman, and We Don't Talk Anymore hit US #2 at the beginning of 1980. He then had a string of hits in America and kept making the British charts. By the 90's, his American fame was fading, but he still topped British charts with two seasonal #1's: 90's Saviour's Day and 99's Millennium Prayer. In the 00's, he did not have a British #1, but he made the top 5 four times, with songs like When I Need You and Thank You For A Lifetime.
