The number of New Towns in the United States depends on definition of the term. In 1969 HUD listed 63 projects claiming that classification, with ultimate populations varying from 5,000 to 400,000. Today there are about 80, in stages from advance planning to virtual completion.
There's the New York in NY state and a New York in TX.
Johannesburg was originally a gold mining town. Now it's mainly other businesses kimberley and Cullinan are diamond mining towns. New Castle is a coal mining town (which is why it was named after New Castle in England)
Castle Town is a location in the game The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. In the game, Castle Town is the capital of New Hyrule. Castle Town is the largest urban center and can be found in the Forest Realm.
I only know of two named castles in New Zealand, Larnach Castle, and Cargill's Castle, (now largely ruined) both in Dunedin. There may well be others.
