Start with 1and1/2 turns out on both high and low
When was the fuel pump last replaced, to save time, money, aggravation, check or have fuel pressure checked. These blazers need a high fuel pressure I believe at least 59psi. You must have entire fuel pump assembly replaced on these Blazers, can get one at auto zone for around $200.00
It is a gear or chain driven compressor, piston or rotor(like new oil pumps). It is feed fuel by a normal fuel pump at around 43psi and compresses it up to 25,000psi.
Perhaps--unless the sensor itself is bad.
start with 2 1/2 turns out on high speed needle start with 1 1/2 on your low speed needle. adjust high as needed
check the fuel pump driver moduel located behind the spare tire
It depends on how blocked the filter is. It could be blocked enough that it won't let the vehicle run at high speed, but still allows enough fuel through to start the engine.
Fuel in oil, engine running rich( black smoke out of exhaust) Fuel pressure to high, Spark plugs black in color. Hard to start.
There is a high pressure fuel line under the throttle body that carries fuel to the cold start injector. There is a black pipe that feeds idle air to the same spot to insure the cold start injector gets a good mixture.
Engines need higher fuel pressure to start than they do to run.
no governor!! the ecm turns power off to the fuel pump at high speed, should happen around 104 mph
check fuel pressure i think it should be 54-60psi if not high enouth its fuel pump
Pretty high on the food chain
