all deaths in animal testing are unnecessary. animals and humans regularly have different reactions to drugs and other things they test, so it is almost never accurate.
13, 000 animals died due to animal testing in 2009. A majority of these deaths were due to cross breeding, as scientists try to create more animal species.(cross breeding is when scientists combine two genes from two different animals.)
I dont when they fail but i do know that a lot of human products are tested on animals and numerous of these tests end up with death. For example the Pringles company has tested everything they made on animals and every year they hav a total of 4 animal deaths.
The death of humans.
yes you are correct mosquito`s are the animals responsible for human deaths
I'm sure that there were as many animal deaths as there were human, but since no one keeps a record on animal births and deaths, no one can be sure.
It usually does more harm than good. Not only is the process torturous and deadly for the animals involved (i.e. open heart surgery performed on dogs without anesthesia, brain fluid extracted from cats, burns inflicted on rabbits, dyes and chemicals injected into the eyes of animals etc) but it also does little to further the medical community. Many tests are repeated numerous times by different companies because their is no reporting database so tests often get duplicated a multitude of times. Furthermore, companies are legally allowed to do the test over and over until they get the desired result. So, say if a company is testing the safety of a chemical in a household cleaner and 50% of the rabbits die, they can keep running the same test (or dilute the amount of the chemical) until they get the legal amount of deaths so they can put the product on the market. It is not protecting us, just getting them past legal hurdles at the expense of animal lives. Moreover, we now have things like artificial skin which makes it unnecessary to perform these tests on living subjects. I hope that answers your question!
In the wild, most animal deaths are caused by predation, starvation, disease, accidents, or old age. In human care, factors such as illness, old age, mistreatment, or accidents can contribute to animal deaths.
In the United States, an estimated 11 million animals are used in research and testing each year. This figure includes a range of species, such as mice, rats, rabbits, and primates. While the majority of these animals are not typically killed during testing, a significant number do die as a result of experiments. The exact number of deaths varies depending on the type of research and testing being conducted.

you would die. No, really. Im kidding Seriously, there ARE alternatives to animal testing. If people perform the tests on modern technology, it would save MILLIONS of poor animals from horrible, painful deaths. Here's a list of companies that do not test on animals, and below that, ones that do. Avon, Revlon, Aubrey Organics, Tom’s of Maine, Paul Mitchell, Nexxus, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Food Lion (house brand products only), Bon Ami/Faultless Starch, Bath & Body Works, __________________________ Procter & Gamble Clairol Colgate Palmolive Lever Brothers L’Oreal Clorox
In George Orwell's Animal Farm, Boxer witnesses a frightening slaughter of fellow animals. He attributes their deaths to them not working hard enough.
