this v-8 has one intake valve and one exhaust valve per cylinder. Total valves are 16. You can remove the valve cover on one bank and count the number of valves. You can do this after removing the spark plug wires and take out the cover bolts, Be careful with dirt. very basic stuff. Good luck.
