You can search the New Testament using the internet or other sources, many of which indicate each book of the new testament and the number of chapters and verses within that book. Count the total and you have your answer.
I'm not really sure of the purpose of knowing that information but its available if you care to count each verse within the various books and their related chapters. I would suggest using a Green's interlinear bible for your study project, if you are concerned that biblical verses from the original Greek texts to the KJV texts do not match in volume.
