As they are all different, why not just go to a shop which specialises in selling dryers and read the rating plates on the backs of the dryers?
Or ask the shop staff for details?
An electric clothes dryer demands 22A from a 240V outlet at approximately 90% Power Factor. The power demand on the outlet should be about 240V x 22A x 0.9 = 4.75 kW. The active components in an electric clothes dryer are the heating element (100% PF) and the electric motor that turns the tumbler (70-80% PF). The formula you are looking for is W = I x E. (W is watts, I is current in amps, E is volts)
you didn't tell us which model
220 volts. In the US.
There are an average of about 2,900 home clothes dryer fires reported each year in the United States. These fires cause an estimated 5 deaths, 100 injuries, and $35 million in property loss annually.
The average household fan used in US or Canada is about 35-50 watts.
There are many different alternators on vehicles today -(and you haven't even told us WHAT vehicle). Most modern alternators can produce at least 800 watts, many up to 2,000 watts.
I had the same thing happen tonight. I guess ask us anything doesn't mean it will get answered! :-)
A condenser tumble dryer works the same as a regular tumble dryer except the condenser dryer uses a heat exchanger to cool the air and condense the water vapor into a collection pipe. The best condenser dryer in the US is considered to be ASKO or Ariston.
There are many places where one can find Dreft brand dryer sheets. One can find Dreft brand dryer sheets at popular on the web sources such as the official Dreft website and Toys R Us.
All around us are chemicals, natural or artificial. The life without chemicals is not possible.
A 15000 KW transformer will power a small city! One KW is one thousand watts, so 15000 KW is 15,000,000 watts. The average 2500 ft2 house in the US uses somewhere between 24000 and 48000 watts maximum (thats a 100A or 200A service). Did you perhaps mean 15000 watts? That would correspond to a 60A service, which is pretty small. If you have gas appliances (stove, furnace, water heater, clothes dryer) and no big electrical appliances, such as an air conditioner, then maybe a 60A service would do. Most jurisdictions require a minimum 100A service these days except in unusual situations, such as mobile homes and such. A house that size should have a 200A 42 circuit panel. This relates to a 50Kva transformer
The UK uses 240V, so your dryer will probably work, as the US uses 240v in homes for dryers. However, your washer won't as the US uses 120V for washers.
