Look at Latin-based tongues like Spanish. one has the words Magia, also spelled sometimes Maggia. Increased (maggiore is Italian for (Major). Mago is magician or Wizard, Maga (various pronunciations) a female with magical powers, not exactly a witch or witchcraft type. and there is the unusual adjective Magid, which may be of Gypsy origins. a year or so ago a former Army Intelligence agent named Elizabeth Magid died and there was a big ceremonial. It is an odd name.

The word destiny has only one correct spelling. However, as a given name, Destiny could be altered to Destinee, Destyni, Destyny, Destynee, and so on.
