There are no numbers on this but we do know that those who do have problems prior to the abortion so it's not the abortion that is the cause of the suicide. There are those who get Postpartum depression just like you can get after any pregnancy and if untreated it can lead to suicide. Women who has been coerced into abortion have a higher risk of getting that and also the coercion in itself can make them suicidal due to depression. We do know it's very rare.

In the UK about 6,000 people commit suicide per year. Men commit suicide at rates of more that three times that of women.
theirs about 3,000 women that commit suicide every yearn in the united states.
Of course not. That is never the answer.
Suicidal tendencies actually have very little to do with gender. Our suicidal tendencies are actually culturally developed. In the western world for example, men are more likely to commit suicide because they are led to be independent and usually have access to the tools to do so (guns, construction equipment, etc). Women on the other hand usually have a group of support and rarely have access to the tools. In the middle-east, suicide rates are highest amongst women. This is usually due to the fact that women are oppressed and forced to live a life they don't want. They see suicide as their only means of escape. In Asia, both men and women are equally likely to commit suicide. Asians are very hard working and have very little periods of rest, which leads to mental exhaustion, depression then suicide. So the answer to your question depends massively on the country or culture that you are referring to.
Well that is unknown, but it is known that more men kill themselves then women do. -Tgmhc

People who are single, divorced or widowed are 2-3 times as likely to commit suicide as married people, especially among men (Clayton, 1983; Murphy, 1983). For married women (esp. ages 20 to 30), there is some evidence that they are more likely to attempt suicide than single women (Shneidman & Farberow, 1970).
The most common way to commit suicide is by using firearms (guns) or drug overdose.
