The oath of office for president contains 34 words.
The oath appears in the US Constitution.
There is no evidence of Hippocrates writing the Hippocratic oath but the Hippocratic oath was most likely just named after Hippocrates such as many other things in medicine are named in Ancient Greek or Latin words.
If you exclude the oath taker’s name, the first four words are: “I do solemnly swear.”
I hereby declare, on oath
Dragon's Oath has 145 pages.
yeah i guess you could alter the words in an oath .Don't people always do that when they just want the oath to serve a slightly different purpose? I'm pretty sure that's allowed.
"So help me God" has been added by many of the Presidents.
The words "so help me god" have never been present in the oath of office for Presidents, though they appear in other oaths for other offices they are not present in the presidential oath as set down in the Constitution.
I would say yes it does technicly contradict the hippocratic oath..... but we should remember the oath does not take in cout the patients will.
