I don't know, but wouldn't it depend on: * whether you were writing short words like "I" versus longer words like, "recommendation" * whether it's a #1, #2, #2.5, #3 pencil or other * brand & whether it's wood or wood pulp (may make a difference when sharpening) * how hard you press when writing * how often you sharpen and possibly other factors?
With a pen it's about 10k With a pencil it's about 100k With a pen pencil with one lead it's about 3k

Juniperus virginiana or the pencil cedar is not a cedar but a juniper. It is one of the hardiest and easiest of conifers and its wood is best for lead pencil casings. There are many cultivars.
If you write short words (like "it" and "if") with one average pencil, you can write about 56,832,436 words. its about 28,416,218 letters.a regular pencil is about 7",thers about 3 cm in one inch, theres about 21 cm on one regular pencil.somy etimation is 676,576 letters in one cm.
The pencil is actually assembled around the "lead" (which is actually not lead but is graphite). The pencil has two halves with a groove in each one, and they are sandwiched around the strip of graphite.
I don't think there is one. I was looking for that, too, because I collect lead.
5- two by using the lead point of each pencil and 3 by using one lead point and the eraser end.
The paper will not conduct electricity, so it will not light up the bulb. The pencil lead, on the other hand, can conduct electricity and complete the circuit, causing the light bulb to turn on.
If it's a pencil, why would you eat it?!
The inside of a pencil is called "lead". It is graphite and it is what allows the pencil to write. The outer shell of a pencil consists of wood whilst the inside usually contains a stick of graphite/lead that can vary in width.
Carbon is used in pencils. The pencil lead is made of graphite, which is a material made of many 'sheets' of carbon joined together.
