Wyoming/women's suffrage
It depends on how you mean. For example suffrage was won by women in various states at different times (e.g., Wyoming, 1869) yet nationally it wasn't until the 19th Amendment (1920) that women were allowed to vote throughout the nation (and states).

Universal Suffrage was granted in the United States by the Nineteenth Amendment in 1920. Prior to the end of the 19th century women had been granted the right to vote and hold office in Wyoming (1869), Idaho, Utah, and Colorado. On June 4, 1919, a proposed amendment allowing women the right to vote was passed by the United States Senate. The amendment was ratified by sufficient states and became law on August 18, 1920. In the 1970s, the voting age was lowered from 21 to 18.
