Yes, smokeless tobacco, such as chewing tobacco and snuff, is associated with an increased risk of cancer. It can cause various types of cancer, including oral cancer (mouth, tongue, and throat), esophageal cancer (cancer of the esophagus), and pancreatic cancer. The use of smokeless tobacco exposes the user to harmful chemicals and carcinogens, making it a significant health risk. It's important to note that smokeless tobacco is not a safe alternative to smoking and can have serious health consequences. Quitting the use of all tobacco products is the best way to reduce the risk of cancer and other health problems.
Cancer doesn't just come after a certain date. You hear stories of people getting it after just their first dip but then some people never get it after a lifetime, I have been chewing for five years know and I ask the same thing. But it could happen tomorrow, or never. The best thing to do is to not chew in only one spot, switch it around once a week or after it starts to hurt in one area, if you start to see dead skin or white patches STOP RIGHT THEN! No one likes a quitter but sometimes you got to do what you got to do!
depends on how much tobacco you use at a time and how often you use it. after 10 years of frequent use i would be shocked if you didn't show signs of cancer. remember, this can be more or less depending on how often you chew.
I personally don't recommend chewing at all because some people have reported after just 3 weeks of daily use they found white spots in their mouth called leukoplacia which are pre-cancerous tumors
you could have one smoke an have it or go for years and have it or be fine. it all depends on the body i guess.
