All felony offenses have varying lengths of prison time associated wtih them. However the definition of a felony is that it is (by statute) punishable by a term in prison of at LEAST one year or more.
As a general rule - misdemeanor offenses carry sentences of no longer than one yar in jail.
You can get up to 3 to 4 years
It depends on the felony
depending on what state you are in. Could be no sentencing, could be few months to a year and/or could be life. depends if its a first offense or not and depends on if it def becomes a felony charge than the sentencing will def be more than a year. Good luck
The depends entirely upon the type of felony.
The penalty applicable to a class "D" felony is imprisonment of no more than five years, and a fine of at least $500 but not more than $7,500.
Probably the max, but what that is depends on state and whether hit with a felony or not.
Forever.
A felony is when you commit a "supposedly small" civil crime and instead of being a charge such as murder, it could be charges of theft or burgulury. A rape is also a felony
50 to life
the statue of limitiations of tort action in the state of Florida is how many years?Tort actions are civil suits. In Florida they are limited to 4 years, though malpractice is only two years from discovery.
Depends on the application. If it stipulates a time period then only within that time period. Example: Have you been convicted of a felony in the last 7 years? In the above example if you were convicted of a felony 5 years ago you have to answer yes. If you were convicted of a felony 10 years ago you can answer no. If the question asks "Have you ever been convicted of a felony?" and you have, reguardless of the amount of time that has passed, then you have to answer yes.
There isn't a specific number of years you would receive for this particular crime, but you could reasonably expect it to be at or near the maximum possible sentence for a non-capital felony in your location.
