Since 1978
china is one of the many countries with that law
The benefits of China's One Child Policy is that the population of China won't get to crowded and the country won't get into debt because of caring for so many children and families. So, the policy saves money for the country and helps stop the populated getting to densely populated.
10 million a year
The One-Child Policy was set forth to control China's growing population. It was set to avoid social, economic and environmental issues in 1979. About 36% of China's population is subject to the policy and a 2008 survey says that 76% percent of the population of China support the policy. There are exemptions and areas that aren't subject to this policy. It is said to be the cause of China's gender imbalance, as girls are most often aborted and subject to infanticide. Although the policy is in order, there are many citizens who continue to bear more than one child.
Because there are too many people in China so to reduce to population the one child law was made
The one-child policy started in 1979 to slow China's population growth rate. At that time China had 975 million people. This has created a problem because too many families have chosen to only have bpy children and abort female babies. In 2013, China said that a couple could have two children if one of the parents was an only child.
The estimated population of China in 2012 was 1.351 billion. They have a small youth population because of the one child policy in place.
because they were having too many children, and as China is the country with the biggest popularity, they don't want more people!
based on what we have learned at school, the primary country that implements one-child policy is China but Hong Kong is not included(even though its a region of China)..
there are many punishments for the one child policy: the second child will not be registered no child benefits for parents for the second child the government could fine the family
Potentially they can become lonely and spoiled. Many seem to regard their cousins as siblings.
China's one child policy asks the Chinese people to have fewer children by using birth control, not by killing children. It is true that many people prefer to abort a female embryo rather than a male embryo. Nonetheless, female babies do continue to be born in China. China has not been transformed into an all-male country.
