Uniforms
Uniforms
School uniforms have been is use for hundreds of years. They show the different levels of classes, give a professional appearance, and teach the students a form of decorum.
You have to wear uniforms in school because it shows you are a part of the school and shows you are serious about education. Easy to answer! you have to wear uniforms at school because it's just the school's policy...it's been that way for...years! Often done to equalize the students...uniforms help ensure no rivalry in fashion.
This is what I got on some websites a few years ago: School uniforms make everyone uniform. It may create a school environment on one that is a "work" environment. There may be less peer pressure based on the way people dress. I disagree with their use though. It just does not prepare you for the real world.
Well it all depends on how or when the school uniforms are introduced. If the school uniforms start off from the get-go then I have a feeling that the reactions wouldn't be horrible. Now if the uniforms are introduced after years and years of no uniform policies and mid-school year then most likely, the reactions will be pretty bad. I only know this from experience, because at my school the teachers created a fake uniform policy (the students didn't know it was fake.) to explain how people felt before the revolutionary war. The student became tyrants, and there were actual threats and insults made to the principles. If you are a teacher, i would wait at least till next year to bring it up in your school, i hope i helped, and if you are a student i wish the best of luck with your uniforms (if that's even the case.)~Lexi
The majority of private school students need to wear uniforms everyday when attending classes. In recent years, in part to combat gang affiliations and gang violence, some public schools have also instituted uniform policies. There are pros and cons of school uniforms, but as a parent, there are always costs associated with back to school clothes shopping.
People have been arguing about this for years, but in the end, it's all just a matter of opinion.
I absolutely love school uniforms. It makes it easier in the morning to know what your wearing. It establishes equality in school. When on a field trip getting lost usually isn't an issue and you look cool. Pretty much everything about uniforms I love. Not to mention my supplier makes the best quality uniforms in Canada. Their uniforms are extremely durable and can last years yet they are soft and comfortable. My cousin wore a pair of uniforms and when he out grew them he gave them to his brother. It was still is such good shape that he though they were new each time.
1. Students will not judge each other based on clothing and will develop friendships with people they otherwise wouldn't talk to. 2. Saves money. 3. Students always look presentable, are comfortable, and have increased confidence because they know they aren't being judged by uniforms. I have been wearing uniforms for the past 12 years and they are great! It's a no-brainer when I have to get dressed for school. I don't have to worry about what I'm wearing everyday. I couldn't imagine not wearing uniforms! and now days they wear them due to to many gang fightings during school.
I think 12 years of school.
Kids often rebel against wearing school uniforms as a form of self-expression and individuality. Uniforms can feel restrictive and limit their ability to showcase personal style, which is important during formative years. Additionally, some may view uniforms as a symbol of conformity, leading to resistance against authority and a desire to assert their independence. This rebellion can be a way for them to navigate their identity within the social dynamics of school.
