The Big Bang theory is widely accepted in the scientific community as the most plausible explanation for the origins of the universe. While there may be ongoing debates and refinements to the theory, it has not been rejected as a whole.
There isn't really any radically new Big Bang theory; the Big Bang theory has undergone some changes, but many of those are minor. You may want to check the Wikipedia article on the Big Bang for details, as well as on more specific topics such as "cosmic inflation", "baryogenesis", and others. Or you may want to check YouTube videos on similar topics. I suggest checking the "SciShow Space" channel; their videos are quite accurate.
The "Big Freeze" does not replace the Big Bang, it is only an extrapolation of the current theory into the far distant future. It may or may not be "true" as there are other extrapolations will different results.

The Big Bang theory is a scientific explanation for the origin of the universe, while atheism is a lack of belief in a god or gods. Some atheists may find the Big Bang theory supports their worldview by providing a naturalistic explanation for the universe's existence without the need for a deity. However, belief in the Big Bang theory is not exclusive to atheists; people of various religious beliefs also accept it as a scientific explanation for the universe's origins.
The "Big Bang Theory" may account for the events that happened during the first few seconds or minutes of the universe's existence. It doesn't purport to explain anything more recent than that.
There is only one prevailing Big Bang theory that is widely accepted by the scientific community. It describes the initial expansion of the universe from a hot, dense state about 13.8 billion years ago. While there may be alternative cosmological models, the Big Bang theory is currently the most supported by observational evidence.
