The Earth revolves around the Sun once every 365 1/4 days ... once per year.
no the earth can not revolve out of the orbit because the orbit is a definite path way in whichy a planet revolve like our earth if thay donot do this thay may attampt a serious strook with the astroids moving in space.
yes the galaxy does revolve around the sun. gravity may have something to do with it because i think that it holds the universe together
No. Some comets periodically pass by the Earth, such as Halley's comet, but the Sun primarily creates the path they follow. Saturn's moon, Phoebe, may have originated as a comet.
The verb, for "to move in an orbit", is also "orbit". For example: "The Earth orbits the Sun."The verb, for "to move in an orbit", is also "orbit". Ummmm.... No. The Moon orbits the Earth. The Earth orbits the Sun. The Sun orbits the center of the galaxy. Light things in orbit, heavier things in the center of the orbit. Well not exactly, they revolve around their common center of mass. This may or may not be at the exact center as far as distance. The common center of mass of the Moon and the Earth is located inside the earth, but not at the center of the Earth.
The sun does not rotate around the earth. Ever. The Earth rotates around the sun once in one year.
A moon. Of course planets may have different numbers of moons - Mercury and Venus have no moons, the Earth has one, Mars has two, Jupiter has more than 60, etc.
All the planets revolve around the Sun, not Earth. There may be SLIGHT tugs as they come closer to Earth's 'stationary' point, but for the most part it will not be a catastrophic event for the solar system (for us...a different story :))
They revolve at varying distances. Mercury orbits half the distance earth does, Venus 3/4, Mars 1.5, Jupiter 3, and Saturn 10 times as far. Pluto, however, sometimes comes within the orbit of Neptune. It is possible our most distant gas giant may some day sweep up the little dwarf and its four moons.
Most Philippine folktales revolve around kindness and hospitality. They may also revolve around religion. Folk tales also tell stories about ancient history and long ago heroes.
please re write this question as it is inchoherent.
In one day they orbit the earth 16 times.
