I would imagine that everyone (regardless of creed) is against injustice. The problem is that different groups of people define injustice differently. I personally feel it is an injustice to deny a person equal opportunities, responsibilities and respect because of race or gender. But, most Abrahamic religions teach that women are subordinate, cannot teach or instruct men and must obey their fathers and husbands. There are any Christians who feel that capitol punishment is an injustice and I find myself fence-sitting on the issue. To add complications, different Christians believe different things and everyone's beliefs are colored by the culture they grow up in. An American Christian might feel that it is an injustice for a young child to be asked to work in a factory to help support the family, while a Christian in a developing country might disagree. A Methodist might think it is unfair that the child of a Jehovah's witness has to leave a classroom when there is a birthday celebration. But, the Jehovah's Witness would disagree. So, the most we can really get out of this is that everyone want to be a good person but it is pointless to try to lump people all together under one big label and expect them to all think and act alike. Christians like social justice cuz they are awesome

It is from the French phrase "répondez s'il vous plaît"(responday seel vu ple) which means "respond, if you please" or "Please respond." It is often written on an invitation to a party or social event, and requests a written reply from those invited if they plan to attend or not. In modern times, it might be understood that those who do not reply are not coming, and only those who reply will attend, however formal social etiquette suggests that both those who are and are not attending should respond.
The company might fear that the letter-writing campaign will become a boycott if it doesn't respond
